What data we process, why and for how long
Contact form. Full name, company (optional), email, phone (optional), reason for contact and message text. We use them only to answer your request and, if a collaboration follows, to manage it. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for requests not related to a collaboration, our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f)). The box ticked before sending only confirms that you have read this notice. After sending you receive an automatic confirmation email at the address you gave. We keep the data for the time needed to answer and manage any collaboration and, in any case, no longer than 24 months after the last contact. Providing the data marked as required is necessary to be able to reply: without it the form cannot be sent.
Abuse protection. To protect the form from automated submissions, the site keeps for a maximum of 24 hours a code derived from your IP address and the email you entered, only to count submissions. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Browsing data. The hosting provider records technical data in server logs (IP address, date and time, pages requested) to ensure the security and operation of the site, for the period it determines. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). The site also records, for 14 days, the technical outcome of sending the form’s emails.
Cookie choices. Your choices in the banner are stored in a technical cookie for 12 months, so that they are not asked again at every visit and can be demonstrated. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f)). See the Cookie Policy.
Analytics and profiling. We do not use visitor analytics or profiling tools and take no decisions based on automated processing.
Who we share data with
The site’s hosting and email provider, Aruba S.p.A., acting as data processor, and the team members authorised to manage the site’s email inboxes. If you choose to activate Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) or YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) content, these companies receive technical data such as your IP address and act as independent controllers; they may transfer it outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data or use it for other purposes.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent (without affecting processing already carried out), by writing to info@martamaggetti157.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your own country.
